BECA aims to enable effective community involvement in the tourism sector across Bangladesh through workforce development. To do so, we host training events alongside our partners, Journey Plus and Miles Partnership, to equip local tourism professionals, and those interested in entering the industry, with the necessary skills and resources. Each workshop addresses a variety of challenges including how to enhance visitor experience, facilitate private sector investments, or improve digital optimization. BECA understands that every community faces different obstacles in tourism development. Each event is shaped to fit the needs of the local community they are based in.
A crucial facet of workforce development is expanding inclusivity in the tourism industry which is why BECA aims to increase female participation in the tourism sector by providing female university students with skill training.
Through these training opportunities, BECA enables access to meaningful careers in tourism.
