The Greater Sundarbans Destination Management and Marketing Organization (DMO) will bring together key tourism stakeholders from the private sector, NGO, government, and protected area authorities to ensure that the Sundarbans region is well promoted and preserved for future generations.It will also support the decentralization of tourism development, management, and marketing of the region by creating a public-private partnerships.The DMO, consisting of a Board of Representatives that equitably integrate different perspectives from the destination, will be responsible for enacting the strategies laid out in this document and helping to drive tourism in the right direction. The DMO will work with key stakeholders to create a vision for visitor management and tourism marketing in the region, ensuring that the Sundarbans is loved and cherished for generations to come.
